Should I do this step in the beginning or once all the smaller groups are created? Once I am finished grouping all of these small sets of rows, then I'd like to group a much larger set which will include hundreds of these smaller sets. If I select a set of rows and choose group, then choose an adjacent set of rows to and select group, it bunches the two sets that I want in separate groups together.įor instance, Row 5604 through 5608 are grouped and I see the plus/minus sign out to the left for just those rows, but then when I select rows 5609 through 5614 and choose group, all of a sudden the plus/minus sign now includes rows 5604 through 5614.

If I select a set of rows, do I choose Group or Auto Outline? If I select a set of rows that I want to group, must I have a subtotal row at the bottom of the group of rows? This is the first time I am working with the Outline/Groups function and by following all the non-Mac information out there I am still having difficulty.
